We need to find a speaker for January, and for March & beyond. Richard suggested a speaker on SCRUM that he heard recently at a PM SIG meeting recently.

Other topics:

November board meeting will be one week earlier than usual because of Thanksgiving (Nov 19th, rather than Nov 26th).

Review of TMC Annual chapter report that Larry gave at September SCV Section meeting.  Annual rebate from section was $1199.46.

Discussion obout how to reach members of TMC supporting societies.  Michael will contact SCV Chapter Coordinator to see if we can get additional publicity for TMC meetings.

New website: Ilya will be available prior to the October dinner meeting at 5:30 to tutor board members & volunteers on the new web site. Come with your questions.

Michael Condry presented the proposal for ITMC 2011 conference. The chapter participation at 15% was voted upon and approved at NTE $2200. (Current MOU lists $2142.xx).

ACTION ITEMS:

Larry - Volunteer recognition gifts, certificates, and slide with preview of this fall/winter TMC programs for Oct 1st meeting.

Larry - Post TMC annual chapter report presentaiton on chapter website

Chris - Verify that your speakers topics, abstract and bio are documented.  (I found Steve Bochman and Ainsley Nies, but not Marilyn Stanton).

Carl - Verify topic, abstract and bio for Oliver Gildersleeve and post on website for Feb meeting.

All - Find additional speakers. January, March, April and May are open.

Richard - check on potentail speaker on SCRUM

Larry - investigate potential speaker on line management / managing product development engineering teams

Michael - Contact SCV Chapter Coordinator about access to mailing lists of the local chapters of the 14 societies that sponsor TMC.
