TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT COUNCIL

For a while the new (beta) website was hiding behind the wraps. It was accessible from an inconspicuous link on the front page of www.IEEE-SCV-TMC.org. After months of development, it finally got officially released on August 28, 2009, just in time for the new season.

The new website is built on Drupal, an open-source content management system. That choice allowed quick construction of all basic functionality, but required extensive programming of bits and pieces that were missing in core Drupal system and contributed modules.

The new website provides dynamic content. It allows members who register with the website (registration is free) to participate in content creation, post comments, start and participate in discussions on forums.
